A Colorado businesswoman has returned to her Panhandle roots and opened a new store. 

Angela's Bridal & Boutique opened its doors on Saturday in Eric Vath Clothier's former location in downtown Scottsbluff.Beautiful Mermaid Wedding Dresses Owner Angela Engelhaupt said it's a fulfillment of a dream. 

“It's always been my goal to open a business here and bring it into the community that gave so much to me and helped build my character,” she said. “It's amazing to finally see that happen.Go for a modern and romantic look in this chapel train gown evening gown.” 

Engelhaupt grew up in Minatare, finished school in Wyoming and has spent the last few years as a manager for The Buckle designer clothing store in Colorado. The opportunity to open her own store came up about a year ago and she said the last few months have been a whirlwind adventure involving purchasing a storefront, remodeling projects and product price tagging. 

Store Manager Tonya DeWitt is complementing Engelhaupt's retail background and brings more than five years of bridal market experience to the store. Together, the pair will offer their expertise one-on-one in their private consultation room. 

“We'll dress her up and make her feel special,” she said. “Her wedding is the bride's big day and we want to work with her and help make that day perfect.” 

Walk-ins are also welcome and there is plenty of room for several brides. Engelhaupt said she hopes their product selection and focus on customer service will help encourage brides to shop at local outlets before driving to Cheyenne,Jovani designer 2013 evening dress and celebrity style evening gowns. Angela's has more than 100 wedding dresses on-hand including gowns by Justin Alexander, Sincerity and Allure Romance. Prices range from $300 to $1,600,Dennis Basso Sweetheart V-neckline dress with Dropped Waist in Organza. and Engelhaupt said she tries to carry products that fit anyone's budget. 

Also, 180 prom dresses in the new Spring 2013 styles line the racks and Engelhaupt said she hopes to have even more on the way. 

“We'll bring more dresses in as we go along,” she said. “For now, we just want to get a reaction from people and see what they are looking for and what they want.” 

The boutique side of the store houses jeans, shirts, shoes, purses and jewelry. Some of the accessories are made to match with bridal items, but Engelhaupt said much of it would serve well as casual clothing. 

“It's almost like having two stores in one,” she said. “Some is more formal and some works well for a fun night on the town.”
